DIRECTIONS
(From Masinag Market, some 40 minutes to one hour drive)
1. Take Marcos Hi-way.
2. Observe major landmarks: Cogeo Market, Forest Hills, Boso-boso
Highlands Convention Center, Boso-boso Arc.
3. Just follow Marcos Hi-way. Immediately after Boso-boso Arc is a
concrete bridge. To the left of the road is GREENMEADOWS HARDWARE (where
a terminal for tricycles going to Kaysakat and Calawis is located).
4. Turn left. Just follow this solitary concrete road.
5. At the end of the concreted portion, the 3.8 dirt road to Calawis
begins.
6. WATCH OUT -- the dirt road forks! Turn left at the first corner,
approx. 200 meters from where the concreted portion of the road ends.
(Note: A number of visitors lost their way here because it is easy to
miss the FORK. Turn left.)
7. You will see another “welcome arc” -- that of Barangay Calawis. Whew!
You made it!
8. Just follow the road. Cross the concrete bridge. Just drive ahead,
you will pass a basketball court. To the right of the road, after a
church under construction, cross another bridge.
9. Just drive ahead till you reach another arc. To the right is the
resort of Malvar. To the left is the Osabel retreat and meditation
house.
